The current program

Since 2007, our institute, together with the other three local Max Planck Institutes, the Göttinger Literaturherbst and the Lower Saxony State and University Library, has been organizing the lecture series Science at the Göttinger Literaturherbst.

In exciting, generally understandable lectures, renowned scientists and science journalists present their latest research findings and books and discuss current topics. The event will take place live in the Paulinerkirche and will also be streamed. The on-air ticket is valid for all lectures of the Göttinger Literaturherbst.

You can find the current program here.

Science Communication Medal

Since 2014, the Science Communication Medal has been awarded annually to a scientist who has made a special effort to present scientific research results to a broad public in an understandable manner.

All lectures take place at the Paulinerkirche in Göttingen.
