Internships at the Institute

Unfortunately, at the moment there are no school internships offered in the scientific area. If you are interested in an internship in one of our service groups, please contact the respective group leader directly.

Can I Complete an Internship at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences?

Yes, in principle internships at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences are possible. At the moment, however, you can only gain insights into various non-scientific professions in which we provide vocational training. The individual groups decide about the allocation of places. Therefore, it is best to first take a closer look at which professions you are most interested in. More about our vocational training can be found here.

How Can I Apply?

Please send your application by e-mail or mail directly to the service group you interested in working with.

...and Last but Not Least:

Please remember that the planning requires some time. Therefore, it is advisable to apply to the service group as early as possible and send in your complete application. Please include a cover letter, your CV, a short description of your technical expertise, and employment references, if available.

We Wish You Good Luck with Your Application!
