Apprenticeships at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences
The Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences has offered numerous young people the chance to undertake on-site vocational training. Apprentices are trained in nine different professions around the institute's workshops, administration, and service facilities.
Every year eight to ten young people successfully complete apprenticeships at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences. 34 of our apprentices have received prizes on a local, regional, state, or national level for their excellent final exam performance, and the Max Planck Society has honored a further 27 with their Azubipreis for exceptional job-related achievement and social engagement. In addition, the Max Planck Society honored the institute's Animal Facility (2011), Carpentry at the Faßberg Campus (2013) and City Campus (2022), IT & Electronics Service (2017) and the whole institute (2021) for their outstanding vocational training programs.
More information on the apprenticeships offered at the institute can be found here (in German).
