General Service
Our general service such as the administration, communications, and the Child Care Center directly on campus provides support for all institute members to manage their day-to-day life. Visitors are cordially invited to make use of our Cafeteria & Espresso Bar and events organized by communication team.
Our Administration supports the scientific departments, research groups, and central facilities at the institute. It consists of the following groups: Accounting, Purchasing, Personnel Management, Projects, Travel Expenses, Housing Management/General Services, and Operating Technology.

The Communication & Media Team is your central contact for all questions concerning the institute. In addition to press releases and information on events and other activities, we also publish the institute magazine. We will also be happy to put you in touch with a suitable contact person for your research on a specific research topic or organize a visit to the institute.

There are daycare centers at both the City Campus and the Faßberg Campus.
The ASC Kita EntdeckerKids am Faßberg offers 40 places for children from 3 months to 6 years of age. At the City Campus, 30 children from four months to six years can be cared for.

Why not make use of our institute's guesthouse while visiting us? Five single bedrooms, one double bedrooms, and one apartment are available to our guests for short- and long-term stays. All rooms are equipped with shower, toilet, internet, satellite television, clock radio, safe, and hairdryer.
