Description

RockMaker crystallization software (Formulatrix, version 1.11)

Covers the full experimental workflow – from plate design to image acquisition and evaluation.

Crystal Gryphon (Art Robbins Instruments)

Serves as the standard platform for our 100 nl + 100 nl screening service.

Crystal Gryphon LCP (Art Robbins Instruments)

LCP module supports optional microseeding experiments (default volume: 20 nl seed stock).

Cartesian 8-channel Nanodispenser

Saves sample by dispensing 60 nl + 60 nl droplets (currently not available).

Rockimager Imaging Hotels (Formulatrix) at 20 °C

Automated imaging of crystallization experiments

Tecan Evo 150 with 8 needles

Liquid handler for refinement and optimization

Liquidator 96 (Mettler-Toledo)

Manual pipetting system

PX Scanner (Rigaku)

In situ diffraction screening directly from high-throughput crystallization plates, with crystals remaining protected in their native growth environment. This instrument is useful to indentify salt crystals and to screen cryoprotactants at 20 °C (works only for large, well-diffracting crystals).

Tools, equipment, and chemical solutions for manipulation, optimization, cryoprotection, freezing, and storage of crystals

M125 stereomicroscopes (Leica) at 20 °C and 4 °C with optional polarizing filters, one with a camera

Dry shipping equipment (CX 100 dryshippers and transport containers)

Sample changer equipment (SPINE pucks, Unipucks) for synchrotrons and the institute’s Metaljet home source
