I did my Bachelor studies in Applied Biology at the University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, Germany, and spent some time in the Netherlands working on the cytosolic delivery of therapeutic proteins during my BSc Thesis. In 2020 I moved to Göttingen to join the Molecular Biology MSc program of the International Max Planck Research School. For my MSc thesis, I characterized putative RNA binding proteins in a minimal organism in the lab of Prof. Jörg Stülke at the University of Göttingen. Intrigued by the research of the Lorenz lab on E3 ligases, I joined the group as a Stefan Hell fellow in July 2022.
