Software

The facility provides access to commercial software for data visualization, image restoration and image analysis. Commercial software available via the facility are Imaris, Arivis, Huygens deconvolution, and Huygens localizer. Furthermore we provide support for open-source software (e.g. Fiji, CellProfiler, Knime, python), and Machine Learning approaches using feature based learning (e.g. ilastik, Weka) or deep-learning (e.g. CARE, STARDist, Cellpose).

For computational resources, the facility has several servers with a fairly good amount of GPUs, CPUs, and RAM to accomodate large data applications, fast computing using GPUs, training of machine learning models, and visualization. The computational resources can be accessed from your computers at home or at work.
