Peter Lenart
Research Group Leader and Head of FacilityPeter is the leader of the Research Group "Cytoskeletal Dynamics in Oocytes" and is head of the Light Microscopy Facility. Peter studied biology, completed his PhD at EMBL in Heidelberg, followed by postdoctoral work at IMP, Vienna. He started his independent career as group leader at EMBL, from where he moved to the MPI in Göttingen in 2018. His research focuses on oocyte meiosis using quantitative live-cell imaging assays. Additionally, he coordinates and is responsible for the strategic development of the Facility, and he supports Facility users in sample preparation and experimental design.

Mišo Mitkovski
Scientist, Site Manager at City CampusMišo headed the Light Microscopy Facility of the former MPI of Experimental Medicine, which he established in 2009. He advises users during experimental design and automation of image acquisition and analysis. He is responsible for establishing strategies to address the evolving imaging requirements at the City Campus. Mišo regularly teaches image analysis courses and is a member of German BioImaging, Max Planck BioImaging, and QUAREP LiMi.

Antonio Politi
Scientist at Faßberg CampusAntonio manages the Light Microscopy Facility at the Fassberg site. He has a background in biophysics and provides support for standard microscopy techniques as well as for super-resolution and FCS, and he is an expert in data analysis. Antonio is involved in several collaborative image and data analysis projects and in the development of automated data acquisition workflows.

Jasmin Jakobi
Technician at Fassberg CampusJasmin is a technician in the Research Group and additionally supports cell sorting (FACS) in the Facility. She manages laboratory organization, takes care of the cell culture room, and is the primary contact for users of flow cytometry and FACS equipment.

Heiko Röhse
Engineer at City CampusHeiko applies his extensive technical experience as a former field service engineer toward regular microscope system maintenance and quality control. He provides microscope user training and supports users of the Light Microscopy Facility at the City Campus as they develop their image acquisition strategies.
