Rehoming at the Institute

From time to time, we can give healthy mice and rats to private owners as pets. These fascinating, social animals must be kept in groups. They are very curious and active. In their new home, they will need hiding places, nesting materials, climbing structures, and other items they can chew on. It is also important to keep in mind that they are nocturnal.

If you’re interested and can ensure the necessary conditions for their care on a long-term basis, please feel free to send us a message. We’re happy to advise and assist you if you’d like to adopt an animal from us.
