LUMICKS (https://lumicks.com/) develops instruments for dynamics single-molecule and cell avidity analysis. For dynamic-single molecule analysis LUMICKS C-Trap combines optical tweezers, fluorescence and label-free microscopy to measure forces around biological interactions. The technique has been successfully used to measure protein folding, phase separation and DNA/protein interactions, among other things.
In this seminar we will discuss the physical principles, applications, and technical implementations of dynamic single-molecule analysis.
