Science Night

Impressions of the 5th Science Night in July 2022

25,000 visitors were out and about at the fifth Science Night in Göttingen on Juli 9 – around 4,200 of them found their way to the Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research, which hostet the MPI-NAT for the evening. At our booth, young and old alike were able to discover the secrets of the egg cell, our scientists Wiebke Möbius and Lisa Linhoff presented their research on myelin and the Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease in the lecture hall. The PhD community explained in their kids’ program everything their young audience needs to know about flying spinach and elephant tooth paste and showed how to build a microscope using lego. At the big Science Slam on the university’s central campus, our postdoc Constanze Depp even won first place. Here you can see impressions of the eventful night.
