Happy Hour
One of the great student initiatives are weekly Happy Hours. Every Friday from 6pm onwards in the foyer (or in front of it when the weather is nice), a group of PhD students and Postdocs invite you to join them for a drink and a chat to get to know each other and relax before the weekend. The happy hour is a student-run gathering organized by the PhD students / Postdocs from the various departments of the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry (MPI-BPC). The aim is to facilitate communication and exchange among PhD students and Postdocs on the campus in a casual atmosphere. It's the perfect occasion to take a break from the lab and see some familiar and some new faces!
