After finishing my appentriceship as a biology laboratory assistant at the University of Göttingen in 2001 I kept working in its Dermatohistopathology department. Since 2007 I was employed at the MPI-BPC, Departement of Moleculare Developemental Biology (Prof. Dr. H. Jäckle). In my professional life I gained several moleculare, histological and cell culture technics and labotatory skills. Now I am very happy to join Jochen´s lab and I´m very excited to enter a completly new area: work with planarians
