Tina finished her professional training as a technical assistant at the Institute for Animal Breeding and Genetics, University of Göttingen in 1997.  Since then, with the exception of a short period of 1.5 years when she worked with the Institute for Animal Breeding and Genetics, she was employed at the MPI-BPC and worked with Peter Gruss (Department of Molecular Cell Biology) and Anastassia Stoykova (Project Group Molecular Developmental Neurobiology). Over several years, she gained experience in the fields of Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Embryology, and Animal Physiology. Bringing in all this experience, Tina was very excited to help in setting up the Department of Meiosis after Melina joined the MPI-BPC in 2015 (since 2022 MPI-NAT). In the Schuh lab, Tina is responsible for managing all purchases and supports the scientists with sample preparations.
