Diana studied Biology and Neurobiology & Behavior at the Freie Universität (Free University) Berlin, where she attained her B.Sc. (2009) and M.Sc. (2012).  She then joined the lab of Prof. Christine von Arnim in Ulm studying mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease. In 2016 she then moved to the lab of Dr. Martin Schwärzel in Berlin where she was involved in the characterization of Drosophila’s heart and associated neurons by immune-histochemistry and by live imaging of semi-intact heart preparations. In March 2018, she joined the Schuh lab as a technical assistant. Diana supports the group with genotyping of mouse lines, cell culture, microscopy work and logistics.
