The Rink Department is delighted to announce that we will be hosting the XVI International Symposium on Flatworm Biology (XVI ISFB 2026). The meeting will take place from the afternoon of September 1st to the afternoon of September 4th, 2026, at the Alte Mensa am Wilhelmsplatz near the city centre of Göttingen, Germany.(XVI ISFB 2026)

The scientific program will feature sessions on Flatworm Cell Biology, Parasite Cell Biology, Regeneration, Genomics, and Taxonomy/ Systematics, aiming to provide a comprehensive and engaging overview of the diverse fields of flatworm research, attached is a poster with the confirmed invited speakers.

Abstracts for oral and poster presentations are welcome across all areas of flatworm research, including cell and developmental biology, regeneration, parasite biology, genomics, and taxonomy/systematics. A limited number of short talks will be selected from the submitted abstracts. Full details on registration, abstract submission, deadlines, and the preliminary program are available on the symposium website.
