My name is Yi He, and I am from China. Driven by my passion for biology, I began my scientific research journey at Tsinghua University in China. Among the vast array of research directions, I chose epigenetics and bioinformatics, aiming to explore new potential therapeutic mechanisms in mammalian disease models. Throughout my research, the concept of "regeneration" has continuously challenged my understanding of biology. In 2025, I joined the Rink Department to study regeneration in planarians. By integrating multi-omics analyses, I seek to uncover how signaling pathways regulate regeneration. Beyond the lab, my enthusiasm for biology extends to the natural world—I enjoy observing wildlife outdoors, as nature brings me both tranquility and fresh ideas.
