I obtained my BSc and MSc degrees at National Taiwan University, where I studied the mechanism of translation initiation in Dr. Wen Jin-Der’s lab. I discovered my interest in biophysics in those days and then joined a structural biology team led by Dr. KP Wu at the Academia Sinica, working as a research assistant. During this phase, I studied protein design and gained experience with X-ray crystallography and ubiquitin research. In the summer of 2024, I decided to take my research journey to the next level, joining the Lorenz lab as a PhD student. Here, I will be studying the biology of the ubiquitin ligase HACE1. I am excited to join the science community in Göttingen and get to meet many interesting people. During my free time, I enjoy different kinds of outdoor activities, especially volleyball. If you also like to play volleyball and talk about science, we will be good friends!
