Jurgita received her PhD from the University of Helsinki, Finland in 2024. Her doctoral research focused on understanding how structural changes in proteins contribute to cellular aging. She joined the Schuh lab as a postdoctoral fellow in 2024, where she investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying intracellular organization of proteins in oocytes and their functional role in oocyte and embryo development.
