Chinzorig was awarded the Stipendium Hungaricum full-scholarship to study in Hungary in 2018, and received his BSc degree in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Debrecen in 2022. In addition to his focus on applied microbiology and biochemistry in the undergraduate program, he became increasingly interested in molecular biology. To broaden his horizon, he applied and successfully enrolled in the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) for Molecular Biology MSc/PhD program. His MSc studies in Germany were supported by the DAAD scholarship. Chinzorig joined the Schuh lab as a master's student in March 2023 and studied the role of the centrosome in meiosis. In July 2024, Chinzorig started his PhD studies, focusing on factors that contribute to the regulation of meiosis I.
