Technical Equipment
We have access to the NMR facility of Christian Griesinger's NMR department at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry. The facility includes 400, 2x600, 2x700, 800 & 900 MHz spectrometers capable of triple resonance and pulsed field gradient experiments. Several of the spectrometers are equipped with a cryogenic probe. The 800 MHz spectrometer has a TCI cryoprobe for direct carbon detection. In addition, extensive wet lab facilities for protein production and biophysical characterization (light scattering, electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy) are available at the institute.
