Fachbeirat des Instituts
Um die hohe Qualität der wissenschaftlichen Forschung zu gewährleisten, werden alle Institute der Max-Planck-Gesellschaft regelmäßig von unabhängigen Fachbeiräten begutachtet. Deren Mitglieder sind Experten von weltweit führenden Forschungseinrichtungen und Universitäten. Der Max-Planck-Präsident ernennt die Mitglieder auf der Basis von Vorschlägen des Instituts. Sie werden für eine Amtszeit von maximal sechs Jahren berufen.
