The research group for Magnetic Resonance Signal Enhancement (Dr. Stefan Glöggler) invites applications for a

Postdoctoral Fellow (f/m/d)
- Chemistry for Isotopic Labeling -

We are looking for a highly motivated Postdoc who will work on the synthesis of contrast agents for magnetic resonance imaging experiments. Especially the development of new routines for isotopic labelling (deuterium, 13C and 15N) of biological active compounds will be the main task.

The candidate should have a strong background in synthetic chemistry, medicinal chemistry or related disciplines and interest/experience with isotopic labeling. Knowledge about magnetic resonance (MR) methods is advantageous.

Postdoc candidates hold a Ph.D. degree in chemistry or related disciplines. The initial appointment for Postdocs is
2 years with possibilities for extension.

The group language is English, so no German language skills are required – but it is a great opportunity for you
to learn German!

Payment and benefits are based on the German public service pay scale (TVöD Bund) guidelines. The latest possible starting date is February 1, 2024.
