The Südhof laboratory is interested in understanding how synapses are built, how they are organized functionally, how their functions change during long-term memory formation, and how they become dysfunctional in Alzheimer’s disease. In today’s talk, Tom Südhof will present recent results from his laboratory on synapse formation and long-term memory consolidation.
