Our communication culture on social media

Do you have any questions? Or would you like to discuss scientific topics with us and other users on our channels on Bluesky, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube? If so, please follow our rules as part of our netiquette:

• Always remember that you are communicating with other people. We expect all users to express themselves respectfully towards others. Criticism should always be constructive. We do not tolerate any form of discrimination on the grounds of origin, gender, religion, disability, belief, age or sexual identity.

• We do not tolerate the use of our social media channels for the systematic dissemination of hate speech, fake news, or conspiracy theories. We do not accept posts that use our platforms to spread anti-democratic views, incite hatred, or deliberately disseminate disinformation.
• We do not allow content that is irrelevant to the topic, commercial, offensive, or harmful to minors, or posts that clearly contravene applicable law.

Posts and comments that contravene these guidelines will be deleted immediately without prior notice.

• Please also take care to protect personal rights and refrain from publishing your own personal data or that of others.
