Future Day in the Department of Tissue Dynamics and Regeneration

Microscopes instead of maths lessons, pipettes instead of pens, a workshop instead of a gym: during Future Day on 23 April, around 75 pupils from Years 5 to 10 got to know the wide range of research areas at the Max Planck Institute (MPI) for Multidisciplinary Sciences.

As in previous years, in 2026, under the guidance of our colleague Iris Bickmeyer, many school pupils were able to gain an insight into scientific work in our laboratory and, of course, try their hand at conducting experiments themselves.

We hope that this has sparked an interest in our work and that we may perhaps welcome some them as students in our department in the future.
