Postdoctoral Fellow (f/m/d)
- Physicist or Physical Chemist in Magnetic Resonance -
We are looking for a highly motivated postdoc who is interest in the field of spin physics and hyperpolarization. We have recently discovered interesting spin effects in iron-based complexes (https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2023.05.10.540199v1) upon interaction with para-hydrogen and are planning to gain deeper insights into mechanisms that play a role during the hydrogen activation.
The candidate should have a strong background in physics or physical chemistry or related disciplines and experience in nuclear magnetic resonance and spin physics.
Postdoc candidates hold a PhD degree in physics or physical chemistry or related disciplines. The initial appointment for Postdocs is two years with possibilities for extension.
What you will be doing
- Investigating the spin physics of iron-based complexes in connection with para-hydrogen
- Performing high field spectroscopy experiments up to 1.2 GHz
- Collaborating with our partners from the University of Göttingen and the Max Planck Institute in Marburg
